Power and Drivetrain
The base 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee churns out 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque from its 3.6-liter V6 engine. There are also three other engine options:
- 5.7-liter V8 with 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque
- 6.4-liter V8 with 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque
- 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque
No matter the engine, you will get an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but you can opt for four-wheel drive.
At its maximum, the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee can even tow up to 7,200 lb!
Off-Road Ability

- 5.7-liter V8, 4WD: 14/22 mpg
- 6.4-liter V8, 4WD: 13/19 mpg
- 6.2-liter supercharged V8, 4WD: 11/17 mpg
