Dodge, Jeep®, and RAM Models Score High on Total Quality

Last month, research firm Strategic Vision announced the results of their annual Total Quality Impact (TQI) report. For 24 years, the TQI study collects information from drivers about their new vehicles. This year, over 44,000 car buyers were surveyed about the first 90 days of ownership. Drivers reported back on problems with the vehicle, quality evaluations, and more. Once the results were analyzed, the TQI report was released. This year, Dodge, Jeep®, and RAM models all scored high.

The 2018 Dodge Durango was a hit - in fact, the SUV has been a hit in the TQI for many years. The Dodge Durango topped the mid-size SUV segment for the fifth time in the past six years, showing drivers' continued affection for the model. Meanwhile, the tough 2018 RAM 2500/3500 captured the hearts of owners and scored highest in the heavy-duty pickups category, and the popular 2018 Jeep Renegade won out in the entry SUV segment.

Not only did these individual models do well, but the Dodge brand was a winner in this year's TQI too. The brand was named the best mass-market brand in total quality, thanks to the quality shown in all the 2018 Dodge cars. Vice President of Strategic Vision Chris Chaney explained the importance of the TQI, saying "TQI shows how people feel about their vehicles in their own words, which reveal valuable recommendations for future products."
