New FCA Models Come with Free Apple Music Subscription

Apple wants to give away six months of free Apple Music membership to owners of 2018 Jeep

SUVs, Chrysler vehicles, Dodge models, and RAM trucks any time they buy a car over the course of the next 12 months. At press time, the tech giant's streaming music app boasts 36 million users, which obviously is beyond respectable, but with a goal of overtaking Spotify and its 70 million users, it's easy to see why Apple would be so interested in getting people hooked on what really is a great music service.

Doling it out to people who buy new vehicles here at Heritage Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Owings Mills is a great way to do that. Whether you're buying a new Dodge Charger or a new Jeep Grand Cherokee, we are excited to offer six months of a service that does just about anything a driver could want from a musical perspective.

While Apple Music does pull in a driver's own music library via iTunes, it also offers tens of thousands of songs available via personalized streaming radio stations. Users can even make playlists that are a hybrid of the two, or they can let Apple algorithms make the playlists for them based on their personal preferences and musical tastes. There's even a 24/7 radio station called Beats 1 that plays music and also features special broadcasts from the likes of legends like Dr. Dre and Elton John.

If you are interested in trying this out, come pay us a visit here any time and we will be happy to show you the ins and outs of Apple CarPlay® and how the free Apple Music subscription would work. It really is a great technology, so come hear it for yourself!
