All-New Jeep® Model Debuts at La Auto Show

Visitors to the Los Angeles Auto Show this month were in for a treat. Jeep® automakers used the opportunity to introduce the most capable midsize truck ever - the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Like every Jeep truck or SUV from a classic Jeep Wrangler to a 2019 Jeep Cherokee, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator combines rugged abilities, versatility, and an instantly recognizable Jeep design. But this all-new truck goes beyond these staples to provide class-leading capabilities and bring the open-air experience to truck drivers.

The powertrains at the heart of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator are a 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine or a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel® V6 engine. In addition to providing drivers with raw power, these engines also help produce segment-leading capabilities. The all-new Jeep Gladiator offers a best-in-class towing capacity of up to 7,650 pounds and class-leading payload capacity of as much as 1,600 pounds. This newest Jeep truck also leads the way when it comes to off-roading. Thanks to the Command-Trac and Rock-Trac 4x4 systems, Tru-Lock axle lockers, 33-inch off-road tires and more, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator boasts unmatched crawl ratios and up to 30 inches of water fording among its outstanding off-road abilities. And we haven't even started on the technology! Over 80 available safety and security features, charging stations, a fourth-generation Uconnect® system and more bring excitement to the all-new Jeep Gladiator even beyond its impressive abilities.

Here at Heritage Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM Owing Mills, we're already excited about this new offering from Jeep automakers. But we know the 2020 model year is a long way off, and we're proud of every 2018 and 2019 Jeep vehicle. Ellicott City, Westminster, and other Baltimore area drivers might have a long wait for the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator, but they just have a short trip to our wide array of Jeep trucks and SUVs!
