April is upon us, which means it is time for us to get excited about this month's Easter Jeep® Safari and the always-amazing concept vehicles that come with that event every year. Essentially, a bunch of awesome concept vehicles hit the desert in Moab, Utah every spring, trekking across the area's popular trails in a way that shows off the best of what Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Wrangler models can do.

This year, the automaker debuted a total of seven new Jeep concepts, and the following are a few of our favorites:

Jeep Safari – All the exterior panels, including the roof, are completely see-through, which means spectators can see the people and the aluminum framing that lie underneath those pretty Jeep exteriors. Even better, the rear bucket seats are facing backward so passengers can make the most of their view on those Moab trails!

Jeep Luminator – If the name didn't give it away, this is a Jeep vehicle lit up like a Christmas tree with LED lights. Designers were not conservative with their use of LEDs on this vehicle, and while that in no way makes for a street-legal automobile, it is good enough for the Easter Jeep Safari.

Jeep Trailpass – If you know anything about the new 2017 Jeep Compass Trailhawk, then you get the gist of this slightly modified version of it, which features 1.5-inch lift and 18-inch wheels with fat tires. It features everything that makes the Trailhawk fun, but boosts its specs for off-road performance.

While Owings Mills, MD customers won't be able to get their hands on these vehicles here at Heritage Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Owings Mills, you never know what goodies from a concept will show up in a future 2017 Jeep vehicle. At the very least, we love seeing the concepts that appear at this event every year!
